Georgia Tech jumped North Carolina for the No. 2 position, as three Atlantic Coast Conference members remain among the Top 10. Georgia is No. 4 for the second week in succession, while fellow Southeastern Conference squad Texas is No. 5.
Some of the top movers from the week 14 to week 15 polls are Oregon from No. 15 to 12, Big 12 regular-season winner Kansas from No. 17 to 14, Alabama from No. 18 to 15 and Tennessee from receiving votes back into the survey at No. 24.
The Southeastern Conference (10 schools) tops all circuits among the survey while the Big Ten and Big 12 hold down four places among the top 25 ahead of the ACC with three teams.
There have been seven conferences (six this week plus independent Oregon State) represented in the first 15 standings of 2026, and there were 10 different conferences in the 2025 NCBWA polls.
