Indiana, Ohio State dominate 2025 FWAA All-America Team presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
The 2025 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic has two repeat All-Americans and 23 players on teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 33 different schools. Players from the Big Ten and SEC make up 32 – more than half – of the 54-member team with nine of the Football Bowl Subdivision conferences represented plus an Independent.
Nine SEC first-year standouts top FWAA's 2024 Freshman All-America Team
Two of the true freshman starters in Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game and eight players who were members of this year’s playoff field are among the 32-man list on the 2024 Freshman All-America Team presented by Chris Doering Mortgage and awarded by the Football Writers Association of America. Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith, an electric wide receiver and big-play producer who has helped the Buckeyes’ surge into the national title game, and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, one of the FBS’s top pass defenders and a national stats leader among freshmen, highlight the team of this year’s top first-year players.

The 2024 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team , presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, has five repeat All-Americans and 16 players on teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 40 different schools. Players from the expanded Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences make up 27, or half, of the 54-member team with nine of the Football Bowl Subdivision conferences represented plus an Independent.
Seven repeat honorees highlight 2023 FWAA All-America Team presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
The 2023 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, is highlighted by seven repeat All-Americans and a record 10 players from the four teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 36 different schools. There are 22 schools represented from eight Football Bowl Subdivision conferences on the first team and all 10 conferences plus an Independent are included on the overall 54-man team.
FWAA, Goodyear Cotton Bowl unveil 2022 All-America Team
The 2022 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, is headlined by nine first-teamers from the four teams competing in the College Football Playoff, three repeat All-Americans and a record 16 total selections from the Big Ten Conference. There are 19 schools represented from six Football Bowl Subdivision conferences on the first team and 34 different schools and eight conferences plus an Independent included on the overall 54-man team.
2020 FWAA ALL-AMERICA TEAM UNVEILED
DALLAS (FWAA) – The 2020 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, is headlined by five players from Alabama on the first team and more than half the first team coming from the Atlantic Coast and Southeastern Conferences. There are 19 schools represented from eight Football Bowl Subdivision conferences on the first team, including 10 players who are competing in the College Football Playoff later this week.
2019 FWAA ALL-AMERICA TEAM UNVEILED
Fifty-four standout players were selected to two teams by the association's All-America committee after voting from the entire membership. Since 2013, the FWAA has named a second team. Overall, there are 35 schools represented from eight Football Bowl Subdivision conferences, including 14 players who are competing in the College Football Playoff and three repeat selections.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS (FWAA) � Two of college football's most iconic brands � the Football Writers Association of America and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic � are combining efforts to recognize, honor and promote the FWAA All-America Team, the nation's second-longest continuously published All-America team. Founded in 1944, this marks the team's 75th anniversary season.
FWAA ANNOUNCES 2002 ALL-AMERICA TEAM
Big Ten co-champions Ohio State and Iowa dominated the Football Writers Association All-America team announced on Monday. Those two teams each placed three players on the 25-man squad, which is selected by a nationwide panel of FWAA writers.
